Company Overview
Beijing Chang He Xi International Healthcare Investment Management Corporation Limited (also called LIH), whose vision is to bring high quality, universal adult and pediatric rehabilitation to China. LIH has attracted an outstanding professional team with strong backgrounds in international healthcare and expertise of investment and management in large enterprises. Together with a combined Technical Advisory Board including clinicians/faculty members from Columbia University, TIRR/UT Health Medical School, Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and University of Sydney, the mission is to become the leading rehabilitation services provider in China in the next five to ten years. LIH invests and operates rehab facilities located in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Kunming.
LIH Olivia’s Place is a merged entity with LIH. It is the leading organization in China devoted to developmental behavioral pediatrics and pediatric rehabilitation. Its vision is to bring high quality, evidence-based, true multidisciplinary rehabilitation services to the children of China. Olivia’s Place was founded in 2010 by an American couple, after giving birth to their daughter Olivia, who has Down’s Syndrome. Guided by a Technical Advisory Board consisting of clinicians/faculty members from Stanford University, Harvard University, University of Southern California, University of Washington, and the University of Hawaii, it has grown significantly to over 50 internationally qualified clinicians with services offered in Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Tianjin, and Guangzhou.
In addition to the private practice work, LIH Olivia’s Place also has a foundation called Olivia’s Foundation that provides free and subsidized services for children with economic disadvantage. In partnership with leading medical universities, hospitals, orphanages, and non-profit organizations in China, it is also engaged in a wide range of academic and charitable programs and research to build expertise in China and serve as a resource for high-quality rehabilitation services throughout China.
LIH has entered into a cooperation agreement with Children's Specialized Hospital, the largest pediatric rehabilitation health system in the United States, which is providing pediatric rehabilitation consulting and training services to LIH Olivia’s Place.
